What Types of Spy Products are Available for Purchase?

There are numerous types of Spy Products out on the market today.  For the most part spy products are generally classified as Surveillance Equipment, Counter Surveillance Equipment, and GPS Tracking Devices. 

One example of a surveillance equipment product would be a nanny camera. Many businesses and people use this type of product in their home or office.The camera and recording device can be placed in an everyday item such as an Wall Clock, Plant,or Digital Photo Frame.   You would never be able to tell that the Alarm Clock had a camera or recording device of any kind.   Another example is having someone  install a software program on your computer that gives that individual a detailed report of everywhere and everything you’ve done.  This would include chat room discussions, websites visited, emails, login ID’s, and passwords.

A growing  threat to the general population is the increasing use of GPS tracking devices.  These units can be placed on vehicles, people, cargos, and more.  Most people use these devices to track cheating spouses, fleet vehicles, elderly parents, teenagers, and cargo.  A GPS tracking device can provide data in either real time by logging into the unit through a website or by retrieving the unit after a period of time and downloading the data to be reviewed via USB to your PC.

A final example of a surveillance equipment product would be a Digital Voice Recorder.  These units are voice activated and can be hidden anyplace including a bedroom, office, vehicle, clothes, backpack, etc.  They also have the ability to record conversations on both a regular telephone line or cell phone.

Since these products are becoming more and more accessible to the general public everyone at some point may want to consider a counter surveillance product like a bug detector.   These units can help find wired and wireless cameras, wireless microphones, GPS tracking devices, phone line bugs, etc.
