The Reasons I Love Console Games

I am often left wondering what makes some people choose to play PC games because to me there is nothing better than console games. And what really annoys me is the fact that many PC gamers actually think that they are superior gamers; how can they think this when anyone can see they are using a gaming system that is inferior? Anyway, I just thought that I’d take this opportunity to share my reasons for choosing console games every time.

- Game consoles are made for game playing and nothing else. I know some consoles will also play DVDs and may connect to the internet but playing games is the main function. With a PC it really can do so many things but nothing stands out as being the main function.

- A games console is so convenient because it allows you to play games the minute you turn it on and there is no messing about. These days I really am too busy to be sitting waiting for a game to load.

- Console games very rarely crash; in fact they very rarely have any problems at all. I have had many experiences of PC games going a bit crazy just when I was getting to an important part of the game. If a game crashed just as I was about to make it to the next stage I’d be furious; I’d want to throw the PC out the window it is better that I stick to a console.

- No matter what game you choose for your console you know that it will work. I don’t have to be concerned about the system requirements or updating my video gaming card.
