pbxnsip – Recording a Voicemail Announcement
This recording will be used in announcements to all callers. If the user choose not to record a name, the extension number will be recited instead. Users can record their name at any time from the extensions handset as follows.
1) Dial into the main menu.
2) Press the star (*) key once you hear the auto attendant.
3) Press 3.
4) Begin recording your name.
5) Press the # sign.
And to record a personal welcome message
1) Dial into the main menu.
2) Press the star (*) key once you hear the auto attendant.
3) Press 4.
4) Record your personal greeting.
5) Press the # sign.
