pbxnsip – Changing the Voicemail Access Code
The voicemail PIN will be used in several dialogs of the PBX (e.g., when accessing voicemail, calling the system from the cell phone, using the calling card feature, and when hot desking). For optimum security, use at least five digits.
Changing the PIN from the extensions handset
1) Dial into the main menu.
2) Press the star (*) key once you hear the auto attendant.
3) Press 2.
4) Enter new access code. (The required number of digits is controlled by the Voicemail
PIN Digits setting.)
5) Press 1 to confirm.
